Healthy Cooking Classes

Hannah is a strong believer that food is a form of medicine and that nourishing ourselves from the inside is the ultimate key to living a happy, healthy and fulfilling life.

She has witnessed first hand the powerful effect that food has on her journey to healing her gut and now as a qualified Health Coach she wants you to experience this too! She is on a mission to defeat the assumption that healthy food is boring and inspire people to get into their kitchens and take control of their health.

During Hannah’s fun, informative demonstrations she will share her nutritional knowledge, and show you how to make some easy to follow delicious recipes that will have you glowing from the inside out. These classes are for everyone no matter your current cooking ability all you need is a desire to feel good! So what are you waiting for?

Essential Oils for Health & Wellbeing

Qualified aromatherapist Karena Rathbone Ariel runs personalised essential oils sessions in addition to the regular group workshops she runs here at The Hub. Boot Camp

A high intensity outdoor-based class aimed at improving all aspects of fitness.

Hosted by Sarah, a local personal trainer and coach who has worked in the industry for 17 years. Sarah is passionate about health and fitness and believes in the benefits of exercise for all, not only for the body but also for the mind. As well as the gym, Sarah enjoys playing netball and loves trail running in our beautiful part of the world.

Wellbeing Fit

Founded by Ellie and inspired by her own personal experience of mental health, we at WellbeingFIT believe that the stigma of mental illness should be more widely challenged and freely spoken about. Based in Ticehurst, East Sussex and the surrounding areas – we are a passionate fitness business aiming to help those suffering with mild-moderate depression and anxiety.

We offer 1-1 & small group personal training sessions and run a group exercise class called TogetherFIT. Our key difference? Your mental health and wellbeing is at the forefront of their design.

General Wellbeing Coaching

At times in life we can all lose direction, focus, motivation and a lack of self-worth due to everyday pressures, struggles and demands. This may have a negative effect on both physical and emotional health. Sally is able to implement positive change through motivational interviewing to focus on the barriers preventing clients moving forward. By discussing the barriers to preventing weight loss, purpose and maintaining an active lifestyle, Sally can suggest, inform, actively listen and support the client in a positive direction.

Kay Hill Sports Massage Therapist

Nordic Walking is a supercharged, low-impact workout that provides the highest benefits for your health, well-being, and fitness for people of all ages and abilities. A few benefits of this kind of training include burning a lot of calories in a short amount of time, increasing your metabolism, burning fat and improving muscle tone. It’s also quite good fun in my opinion!

Weatherly Physiotherapy is led by Kate Weatherly. Established in 1982 by Liz (Kate’s mother), Kate joined the practice in 2007. 

Kate qualified from King’s College London in 2004 with an MSc in Physiotherapy. She has subsequently gained experience in all areas of physiotherapy but specialises in musculoskeletal problems, with a specialist interest in lower limb arthritis and joint replacement. Kate has previously worked at Hawkhurst and Benenden Hospitals and continues to work alongside the orthopaedic and physiotherapy teams in East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

Support, education and nurturing for mums and mums-to-be, from pregnancy and birth and through babyhood. Anna runs Daisy Birthing Antenatal Classes and Daisy Tinies baby massage here at The Hub.

Flow Yoga Class starting Thursday 16th April 09:30-10:30

Hannah is a qualified yoga teacher based in East Sussex. She practices a flowing style of yoga – known as vinyasa – which aims to focus the mind and the body with the breath. She has a relaxed approach to her classes, and wants to make everyone welcome – whether newbie or seasoned yogi – on the mat.

Not sure if yoga is for you? You don’t need to be flexible, just come along with an open mind. Yoga develops strength and balance, as well as flexibility. If you’re still unsure, then get in touch with her – Hannah is always ready to convince you otherwise!
